The advent of computer and internet did not, in any way, change the significance or the use of print media in any part of the globe. Dating back in the time of the early Homo-Sapiens, printing was done through scroll and stone writing. In fact, the most popular ancient printing that marked the history of mankind is the hieroglyphics of Egypt. It served as the major tool of communication of Assyrians, Babylonians, and Sumerians.

The modern world has brought so much change in the old order of the earth. It has made everything about life a lot faster and more efficient. However, modernity didn't change the need and significance of the print media.

Any type of business needs a good marketing strategy. Both the radio and television are far-reaching; however, for local business, they are not always an effective medium. By experience, local businesses thrive better with the use of flyers, brochures, and banners as marketing tools.

Product branding and packaging is the most important business facet. Any product or company is identified with its name, logo, slogan and packaging.
