How To Develop A Strong Communication Strategy

When people communicate in different ways, they have various purposes in mind why they do such activity. Communicating various ideas starts when a message source tries to deliver the message in different ways with a specific target audience. Having a strong communication strategy will enable the audience to grasp the message fully without getting tired of the session.

The conceptualization of the process started when a telephone company experimented on the first telephone technology. Since the concept is entirely about the mechanical process of communicating through the technology, it is seen as linear. However, when it was integrated into linguistics, it became a dual, or sometimes, a multichannel and response process.

For professional speakers, and depending on the kind of speech they give, they usually see communicating as a dual process where they are the sender of the message and the audience are the listeners and are expected to give feedback.

In this type of speech performance, the speaker has to be dynamic and in all aspects if he wants to have an interactive conversation with the listeners. Of course the strategy has to coincide with the topic and mood of the symposium.

Basic public speaking ideas says that the speaker should be compelling by being a credible source of the topic. Another is delivering sensible messages to the audience and making sure that they can relate to it such as integrating day to day experiences.

Another reminder for speakers is to modulate their voices. Nobody wants to listen to an irritating voice, so it is equally necessary to have the right tone and pitch in speaking.

Developing a communication strategy is more of a person decision rather than basing on tips of the expert. Each speaker is unique, and therefore has different strategies in communicating, but he also has to remember the basic factors of what makes a good speaker.
